About Four in a Row
Four in a Row is a classic two-player strategy game, and here your opponent is our friendly computer. Take turns dropping discs into a board of seven columns. Each disc falls to the lowest empty spot. The first player to line up four of their discs in a row, across, down or diagonally, wins the round.
You play red and the computer plays yellow. It looks a few moves ahead, but it isn’t perfect, so clever play will beat it. Every round you win adds to your win streak. A draw keeps your streak alive, but one loss ends it. You and the computer take turns going first.
How to play
- Press Play. You go first in round one.
- Tap a column (or use the arrow keys) to drop a red disc into it.
- The computer drops a yellow disc. Keep taking turns.
- Line up four to win the round and grow your streak. If the computer gets four first, the game ends.
