About Ink Trick
Ink Trick is a quick brain teaser that plays tricks on your eyes. A color word like BLUE pops up, but it’s printed in a different color of ink, maybe red. Your job is to tap the ink color, not the word. Your brain reads words automatically, so it wants to shout “blue!” That little tug-of-war is what makes the game so fun, and so tricky.
You have 60 seconds. Right answers in a row build a streak that doubles and then triples your points. A wrong tap costs you three seconds. Once you’re warmed up, a fifth color joins in and the rule sometimes flips to “tap the word”, so keep an eye on the banner!
How to play
- Press Play. A color word appears on the card and the 60-second timer starts.
- Look at the color of the letters, not what they spell, and tap that color’s button.
- Get 5 in a row for double points and 10 in a row for triple. A wrong tap resets your streak and costs 3 seconds.
- When the banner turns yellow and says “Now tap the word!”, tap the color the word spells instead.
